The TV stations in Nashville are reporting snow along the Cumberland Plateau this morning. I don't think it's very much or will last very gone, but I'm sure the school kids will love it. Those of you who like taking pictures might be able to get some nice ones if you get out early.

It's clear but near freezing here in Nashville (34) early this morning, with a high in the high forties for today. It's amazing how much difference a few weeks make. A month ago we might have been happy to have a day with a high of 50, how it's described as "Our high today will only be in the forties."

No snow here, but it was about 28 degrees this morning when I left for work and I don't think it's much warmer now. I'm worried about the flowers on the trees and the new buds. I'd hate to see a repeat performance of last year!

I woke up to snow this morning. Some places it looked to be an inch about 1/2 inch at my house. Got a few pics, but didnt turn out good. I have to take a pic of the snow because I work down the hill (Cookeville). There is usually way less or no snow there when we get snow in Monterey and my co-workers dont believe me when I tell them it snowed at my house.

Oh sure...it snows a couple of days before we get there and then again less than a week after we leave. Do we get any snow while we're there???? NO! Boohoo! I would have loved to see it. Oh well. Hopefully I'll see some next winter when we are living there (everybody keep their fingers crossed please).

It's actually sleeting here in Nashville. It not much however . . . not that that will stop people from rushing to the grocery store to stock up for the coming Ice Age.

Snowing to beat the band here in Kingsport!
Nothing sticking but it looks like a blizzard it is falling so thick.

And now it's sunny here. "If you don't like the weather . . . " (okay, everyone knows that one).

Pretty crazy; it was snowing so hard I couldn't see the house directly across the street from us and it was sticking. Looked like a white Christmas. I drove 4 miles into Jonesborough ( I live in Telford ) and there was not a flake in sight.
