I am currently in central NC so I was curious if I moved to Eastern TN if the weather would be that much different than here. I like the weather here, as far as the winters, the summers get a little humid for me, but I am thinking if I move to eastern TN it might be milder in the humid dept, and maybe milder in the winter dept.....!!! I am assuming if I head into KY, lets say Louisville area that I will get more of a winter, and less humidity......Not sure on that one. What do u all think?

I think it would definitely be less humid here. But I think that winter's are definitely NOT milder.

Eastern TN has similar weather to Western NC with the mountains and all. Louisville would not be comparable to either of these, though. I'm not sure about the winters of Louisville vs. East TN, but I'd say they would be similar, although the humidity would be less in East TN due to the much higher elevation.

Agree with all the above- also Kentucky is VERY flat and humid in the summer- we visited once in July--too hot!!.
