My wife and I just returned from Fairfield Glade . What a difference from the east coast. Went to the Cumberland playhouse and realy enjoyed the show " The Homecoming ". We are from CT and found out the manager of the playhouse did his Graduate work at Yale which is not far from us. My wife and I found the ffg area to be realy nice. The town of Crossville was just the right size for us. My wife said it reminded her of her home town in NB Canada. After looking at the whole area we could picture ourselves living here in retirement in 10 to 12 yrs with the cost of living being less on average than here in CT. With that decision being made we bought a nice building lot that we hope to use when the time comes. Thanks to everyone who gave me information before my trip.

Congratulations on finding that special place in Tennessee. My wife and I did the same and plan to retire in Monterey, TN in 6 to 7 years. Just as you did, we fell in love with that part of Tennessee.
