Yesterday we ventured over to NC to visit friends. When I passed people sitting on their front lawns, I waved and smiled. I got strange looks in return. When I said hello, how are you to the man who held the door open for me at the gas station, I got an expression of surprise from him.
To me it is just more proof that Tn. has friendly residents. I am glad we choose Tn. as our home. Coming home last night from NC was so sweet knowing we belong here.

Movin08 I went on vacation in Tennessee last year I was highly impressed with the friendly state. So much so,I plan on moving there. Also have found very friendly helpful people on this forum. Smile from ear to ear

If you were in Asheville, that's not really NC. I'd like to bet it's 10% NC native, 75% major northeast cities, 14% major northeast cities by way of Florida, 1% Other.
