I lived in Mooresburg which is about 15 miles from Rogersville. Rogersville is a nice town, great vocational school there. Not alot of crime like Morristown and the other big towns around there. Small town charm, with sidewalks, family owned stores, and a big festival in October and of course the fireworks in July. It does have a Walmart, 2 Food City's, Big Lots, stuff like that. Not alot of sit down eating places. There is fast food resteraunts and a few family owned resteraunts. Just depends on what you are looking for. If you want big city life, then no, it is probably not the place for you. If you want friendly people, low crime rate, then yes, it's right. We moved away from there 7 months ago and I miss it, and would give anything to go back!

Wink Our visit to Rogersville today~ pics

Hi, I've been touring the state of TN for nearly 2 weeks looking for a new place to call home. Today my daughter and I visited Rogersville. Very quaint downtown district. The community pool and skate park where busy on a Saturday afternoon as was the Dollar General. There is a Mexican food establishment in the historic downtown had people coming and going. There was one gallery open at nearly 6 p.m. I saw people visiting in the park un der the shade. There were several people sitting on porches outside or working in yards in the area. The temperature today was in the 80's or so. Very, very pretty area right off the highway. Here are the photos we took.

Default Help posting pics~

Can anyone help me with resizing the photos I've taken (hundreds!) of TN from Nashville, Paris, Linden, Memphis, Hot Springs, Ark, Cookeville, Crossville, Townsend, Clarkrange, Ethridge, Gray, Johnson City, Kingsport, Jonesborough, Baileyton and everywhere in between. I can't figure out how to do this so I can upload and I want to share with all of you who have inspired me on this search.
Much thanks!
Angela
