A very interesting look at road signs around the great State of Tennessee.
Several people probably know where that sign is. Take a look..............

Your link goes to the main page of the site and not to a particular sign.

I am guessing you are pointing out the road signs found for 441 and 411 in Sevierville? That's one of my favorite signs.

I used to drive by it every day to get to work. It's in Sevierville at "the big intersection" as the locals call it.

Default My dear dead mother

truthfully, when I see signs like those I think of her lack of a sense of direction and would think she probably had something to do with those signs... LOl... sorry Momma.. I know you are smiling down on me.

My goodness, worse than Miami..who could have figured such ?

No kidding! I was a bit confused and used landmarks to get me where I needed to be for most of my driving in Tennessee. LOL

My fave are the electric Booze It and Lose It signs. In Maryland those same electric signs tell you to Be On The Lookout For Suspicious Activity and call the tip phone number.

Yes, I used to live in the DC/Maryland area. They have those on all the electric signs frequently. I tend to think more of terrorist activity before I think of drinking/driving warnings.

Here in Virginia we are running "Click It or Ticket" announcements on our signs.

I like the electronic signs mainly because the Amber Alerts are announced in multiple states simultaneously and have proven to be very effective.
