Moderators, if you have to cut this thread, I understand.

My son is going to be 23 the end of June.
He spent last years birthday in Iraq as well.
If you wouldnt mind sending him a card for his birthday, you can direct message me and I will send you his address.

thank you very much.
It is a regular postage stamp to send 42 cents. It would need to be sent out two weeks before his birthday , so around June 13th. Thank you again.

Your post is fine and we will be honored to have it here in our forum.

With love and respect to Robbied's son.

He sends me a message on myspace about once every two weeks or more. He works 6 days and has 1 off. He works 10-12 hour days. He does not have a computer and most times is too tired to go on. I hear from him via phone about once every two weeks. He is a turrett gunner..sorry, he has no time for email. But thank you for the offer and the thought.

Robbied, I'll send you a Dm, and consider it done....

According to the weather reports, it is our understanding that it is 122 degrees in Iraq right now -- and the low will be 111! Our troops need our prayers for strength, endurance, and safety.. If it be God's will, give these men and women the strength they need to prevail.

Send me his address too! I will be happy to send him a card and I will send it on my birthday (13th) as a gift to myself to bring a little smile to one of our servicemen.

DM me and I will be happy to get one out.

You say he's a gunner. My nephew's a cav scout. Is your son stationed in Ft. Stewart too, by any chance?

My son is in a special Air Force unit. There about a few air force units that go outside the wire, meaning off base. Many, although they deploy, stay inside and either guard prisoners or guard bases. My son is in the 820th Security Forces Group out of Moody Air Force Base.
You can google and see what type of things they do. They attach to army units when they deploy.
