I've talked at least 26 people out of moving to FL since being here. Would have been 27, but one slipped out in the middle of the night

In response to younglisa7 regarding the taxes in Florida...I live in Palm Brach county, the taxes in Florida in general are high. That is why we are relocating to Tennessee, besides the fact that we(my family) love the country and it is way less expensive to live in Tennessee than here. It seems as though the cost of living here goes higher and higher everyday. Insurance as well as taxes are extremely high.

I totally agree with you gailli....I can't wait to move out of Florida, although Ocala is nice, but I just want out of Florida period!!! I am from Long Island NY originally, and I sure miss the change of seasons. That is one reason we are planning to relocate to Tennessee.I lived in NC for about 9 years, very nice there too, but the ex lives there...so not going there.

Default I agree

Thats another reason we left Florida was to experience the change of seasons, right now I cannot belive its August here, we will be 58 tonight, two days ago it was 47 in Cades Cove in the morning, now thats sure better than 98 in Florida with 95% humidity
