Wow,

Didn't think I'd see gas under $2.00 again, I saw $1.95 at walmart in Erwin ($1.92 w/discount). Wife saw $1.91 yesterday, I here it's in the $1.80's eslewhere, what about other places in TN.

Also, why is gas cheaper in TN is it lower taxes? NC across the border costs more ($ .40 per gallon) I don't think are taxes are 40 cents less are they? But hey, whatever the reason, I'm glad

Tony

p.s. This is $2 per gallon less than just a few months ago, simply amazing, makes life alot easier financially and less stress.

A few months ago when the price of oil per barrel was at record highs, TVA increased their electric rates by 20%. Now that the price of oil per barrel is less than half what it was then, I wonder if they'll lower their rates accordingly. Yeah. Right.

Good point!! And what about the airlines and delivery companies that charge "fuel surcharges" due to the high fuel costs, now that we are used to paying them, will they cease? Maybe yes, maybe no, I hope they cease.....I paid .50 cents extra today for an online charge for fuel surcharge....

$1.86 in Kingsport today! Whoo Hooo!
Unfortunately, my "non ethanol" gas station that I would go out of my way to get to (Sam's club) just added ethanol.
