I havent read the article yet, but thanks for the link. The big city of Monterey recently had a problem with gang related graffiti. The perpetrators have been apprehended. I dont know if they are actual gang members or just being kids being punks.

That doesn't surprise me at all. Monterey is one of several small towns in Tennessee, along with Morristown, McMinnville, and Shelbyville, that is being taken over by illegals. Ship 'em back and seal it up!

It was M-13 crap spray painted on buildings. Someone has painted over it, but I dont know if it was the kids that did it or not.

MS-13 has been a problem for years in the bigger cities (Nashville, Knoxville, and Memphis), but I hadn't noticed any MS-13 gang members in the smaller cities...

If you don't know, MS-13 is the biggest gang on earth. You don't hear about them as much as you probably hear about bloods and crips in America, but they are huge.

If the economy gets worse, crime is going to go way up. I just hope the police and local government are planning for it. If I was governor/mayor/county poohbah and had to figure out what to do with federal freebie money, I'd use it to hire more police and finish that prison (which would also put blue collar types to work) that, I think, was put on hold.

what do i do if my daughter has joined a gang. CWB is what it suppositly is. What can i do?

If this is a serious question I think it's a better question for the police.

Jessy is right, but you can also distract her to wane her interest. Chance there's a guy in the gang she likes? Take her to places she might meet a guy you actually approve of, for example. Many times, the key to keeping kids away from gangs is to provide access to activities they are interested in. Find out why your daughter would be interested in a gang and exploit that to keep her away at all cost. Perhaps penitentiaries in your area offer tours? Not necessarily solutions, just a little practical advice. It is a police matter, but they can only do so much when it comes to gangs. Most of the "gangs" in our area are just punk kids acting out for street credibility, but their aspirations can manifest into very bad situations. Real gangs don't like the limelight. Do your best in detering your children from any gangs at all cost, and your best is all you can do.

is the bandanna they wear just like the crip/blood red/blue but instead its white?
if so dont worry as much about it. the c.w.b. stands for crazy white boys, and is basically young white kids who like rap music, but dont want to "act black" and is basically a movement that says i can like rap, and not be trying to be black.
it was started in nashville by a rapper named haystak who is not a racist "i know him personally" but speaks up "white boys"
not completely harmless, but not a "gang" by any means.
that kind of assciation would yeild drug "mainly prescription pain medication" problems before violence problems. none of which are likely.
