My families from Tennessee...
Just going home.
It's really about time...LOL
I have always loved it there.
My Dad and a whole bunch of my relatives live there.
Thanks for the advice though...

I'm just not familiar with the area that we will be moving to, but, I have about as much information as a person could possibly absorb.
Will be there tomorrow.
At present, we are in Mattoon, Illinois.
We could have driven all the way, but, my husband was really tired.
In a little bit, we'll be heading over to the Steak and Shake to eat.

Have a SUPER evening.

I've had to probe, and ask the same thing over and over again to different people in order to get a real answer instead of what they think I want to hear.

here's a tip...talk with every waiter/waitress you come in contact with and ask them about the area, what they recommend---they'll usually give you a no-holds barred version of what you NEED to hear versus a "chamber of commerce" answer.

Thanks MB,
I brought my laptop along, and wouldn't you know it, I can't get a network to connect.
So, here I am in the motel lobby, answering my emails and updating everyone.
We'll be in Springfield sometime tomorrow.
I can hardly wait.
I haven't seen my Daddy in three years, and I really do miss him... we talk everyday, but, it's just not the same.

My house went on the market yesterday, and tomorrow the Realtor is having an Open House, plus, I got a call that someone wants to look at the house on Sunday.
Our Realtor is handling all of the calls, but, that one just slipped through.

Will keep you all updated.

Blessings,

Well dang, my laptop won't cooperate, and I am using the motel computer right now.
If I could get my laptop to connect, then, I would be able to connect my camera and send some pictures.
Maybe, I'll have better luck with my dads computer tomorrow.
Will see what I can do...
Gee, TriDad, you're a hard act to follow.
LOL

Got it covered.
My Daddy lives there. He kind of paved the way for us.
He told me not to worry about finding a doctor, or dentist, or a lot of other things... he said, he's got it all taken care of.
On Sunday, we'll get to meet kj37172 from this board.... can hardly wait.
Sorry, you can't make it to church, but, we'll see you afterwards...kj37172,
Hayley wants to meet your boy.
It's too bad, you won't be able to see her sing.
Maybe, you could sneak across the street long enough to listen... or maybe, she'll sing it to you when we come over.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes,
Will send pictures as soon as I can get a functional computer....
Well, other than, the motel one...
LOL..

Have a great trip. Hopefully the weather will be as nice as it was for us last week. It was perfect.

Thanks beachbyrd,
It's been raining and raining... all the way here.
Starting in Minnesota, all through Wisconsin, and into Illinois.
It finally stopped.
Hopefully, it will be clear when we get to Tennessee tomorrow...
