Hello all,

I am a Southern California native who is marrying a Southern (Missouri and Central Florida) girl this summer. Plan to relocate to eastern TN, near Knoxville up through Bristol, TN.

However, what are the best areas for jobs in TN; I'm in outside sales for a tour company, but will switch to insurance or pharmaceuticals, as need be.

Any thoughts on good metro areas, especially for an out-of-towner?

Thanks much!

Knoxville is the best place for jobs. Johnson City- Bristol is the next in line.
Depends on what you want, If you like a busy place K'ville is the best. If you want to be close to the mountains, Gatlinburg- Sevierville is a tourist haven.
Johnson City -Bristol is closer to sking in Western North Carolina and is a little slower paced.

Thank you for your thoughts! I am flying out to Knoxville next weekend to check out the area and interview for a couple of positions.

Thanks!
