Tullahoma is a typical small Tennessee town. Not a great deal of the things you find in large cities. The people are friendly. Tullahoma is more advanced that surrounding cities because of the local Air Force facility. There are several TVA lakes close by and you are centrally located between Nashville, Chattanooga, and Huntsville. All are within a one hour drive and this is great! Low crime and housing costs are reasonable..Good electric rates because of TVA. Hope this helps. I will be glad to try and answer specific questions...

thanks for the help I was concerned about crime I am coming from Boston area and there is alot here. I know the housing cost is reasonable I already have an apt and couldn't believe the rent we sure can't get that here not even a room for what I am going to be paying for an apt. I am still nervous going to another state after living here all my life but I know it will take time to adjust and I am looking forward to it. Once again thanks

I grew up in the Boston area but spent the bulk of my 20's and early thirties in NC...Then for some reasom, which escapes me, I moved back to New England. I love the south and will be moving to TN as soon as my house sells. I'm shopping for real estate as we speak.

Coming from Boston you might want to start practicing talking v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-y. I've always spoken very quickly, like most New Englanders, and have to repeat myself often since most people around here listen very slowly.

raggsygirl where did you go to find an apt for rent in Tullahoma? My family and I are planning on relocating there July 1, from Michigan. I have looked on rent.com but have had only 1 apt with no pics..any advice from anyone on who to contact for a nice 3 bedroom apt or house. I have a 14 yr old son and 8 yr old daughter. I love TN though..have visited and love the people..thanks.....A&D
