Me & My family need some time away from the city, so we want too take a country vacation too TN.

Were aiming for a nice, rural, country small town. With some nice folks in it. Around west TN, particularly around Nashville, deffinitley not Chattanooga or Knoxville. We plan on moving too TN next summer, and were trying too make a couple trips down there before we do. So were double tasking - looking for a nice place too settle down in next year & a nice, fun vacation.

On the vacation some of the activites we would like too do would be horseback riding 2 out of my 3 daughters ride & they both love horses And maybe a little carnival in the town.

So basically were looking for a fun country vacation somewhere in Eastern Tennessee. Any ideas of a place too go would be greatly appreciated

You might look at this: Gentry Creek Inn and Horse Retirement and Rehabilitation

It is about as far "east" as you can get in Eastern Tennessee (about two miles from the border with Virginia and North Carolina and 20 miles from I-81).

I was confused by your first post. Tennessee is officially divided into three Grand Divisions: West, Middle, and East Tennessee (just think of the state being cut into three equal size pieces will be close enough). Nashville is in Middle Tennessee. Is that the area you're talking about?

It is a verrrry long state. I am as close to Detroit, Michigan as I am to Memphis out in the southwest corner of Tennessee.
