Does anyone know you find out about job openings for percussionists (drummers) in the Pigeon Forge area (I am thinking family dinner theaters or comedy clubs), at Dollywood, or any of the surrounding areas?

My husband is an accomplished percussionist and is considering retiring from being a high school band director next year to play professionally full time.

Any information is appreciated.

Thank you!

From what I have heard, you need to contact the Dollywood office for any jobs in the music industry in Sevier county. Most are hired through Dolly Partons production company. She may not own ALL the dinner theaters and music venues in that area, but her production company hires and staffs just about all of them. Check out the park web site for contact info.
Hope that helps!

You could try...gigsalad.com, gigmasters.com, .

However they are National.

Belle Island Village is a new complex opening up in October in Pigeon Forge. They are going to be looking for a lot of musicians, both existing bands as well as holding auditions for individuals to put their house bands together. When they open in October they are going to have entertainment everyday, day time as well as night time. Two Outdoor stages, and indoor restaurants entertainment. I would call them.
