Oh, I understand! There are a lot of people out there that eat junk and a lot of people that don't know any better. I was just referring to a different group of people.

But I wonder if we are talking about the same noodles! I mean the rectangular ones that come with a little packet of flavoring. I don't mean a Cup of Noodles.

Anyway, I mean those ones, and you can buy a large package of individually wrapped ones for hardly any money. That's what you do when you REALLY are poor. Or a large box of macaroni. Believe it or not, you'll gain weight carbo loading like that.

Ramen noodles are like $0.06, unfortunately, my son loves them. I only let him have them once in a while because they are SO high is sodium and MSG. But I buy them at several different stores, $0.06 to $0.08 a piece.

My kid likes them, too. But at least not all the time. Boys seem to really like them. You're right. They are full of very bad things!

I think the cheapest i've ever seen them is 10 for $1 on sale, but I don't eat that stuff so I don't check the prices so much.

Most of the people I know who really are struggling eat a lot of beans, rice, and peanut butter.

Yup yup. I'm not dirt poor but I like to stretch my budget as far as possible. I eat a LOT of rice and peanut butter. PB is so versatile!
