That is really one of the things I hate about Florida. The kids are so rude and think they have the right to disturb anyone around them. We just passed a noise ordinance around here that says that if you can hear a musical vibration coming from a car, the person driving can be arrested on the spot. Yeah right! It hasen't happened yet and I see kids vibrating down the street, right in front of the cops and they don't do a thing about it! What's the use of an ordinance if you don't intend to enforce it?

Offer them free doughnuts and unlimited refills at Denny's for each arrest. That'll do it. ;-)

A kindred musical spirit! Get Off of My Cloud at about 120 decibels (INSIDE the car with the windows up, of course!).
Have you ever noticed that by today's standards, some of the early Stones stuff sounds almost Country?

Default Music

I agree, Alleycat. I like both classic Rock and traditional Country. That covers almost everything from the Rolling Stones to Hank Williams.

I'd have to do some searching to find the titles of the songs, but the Stones have done several pieces that definitely are traditional Country. They started out as a Blues band and there are close ties to Country there.

Bob Dylan did some good traditional Country stuff as well, a few songs with Johnny Cash if I recall correctly.

Yeah, that would be the "Nashville Skyline" album.

That's it! I used to have that one. No doubt it's another one I lent to the kids. But I remember it had some great stuff on it. Girl of the North Country was on that, right? Weren't some of those lyrics used in Simon and Garfunkel's Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme?
