Happyappy, I may be mistaken but I think it was the other way around. The Simon & Garfunkel session was in '66 and Nashville Skyline was in '68 unless my memory is playing tricks.

I didn't know about the dates but I could swear there are some common lyrics.

Playing Simon and Garfunkel or Dylan at high volume levels doesn't do much for me, but I sure like the music and lyrics.

If I turn the bass up all the way and play anything by ZZ Top at near maximum volume, I can just about duplicate those booming noises NYJoe was talking about!

Y'all need to go to Bonnaroo and relive Woodstock! ;-)

That's one good thing about the youtube type sites. You can find all sorts of music from the sixties and seventies. I bet I have two hundred bookmarked. A couple of weeks ago I watched a seven part thing on the history of the Mamas and the Papas. I was never a huge fan of theirs, but I like some of their stuff. It was interesting to see how they got together, came up with the songs, broke up, etc. Personally, I like the old Byrds stuff, some of the Beatles, some Dylan, some S&G; as well as some of the music between then and now.
