Just to see what the topography and general area looks like, I've been typing in the addresses of properties I'm looking at on Google Earth. Neat! Another site that (to me) is a bit better, is FlashEarth.com.

I can see properties, the outline of a house, general topography of the property and neighbors.

Some addresses aren't recognized by the software, probably new developments, so I'll type the addresses in on Google Maps, check out the area, and get that same area on FlashEarth to zoom in on.

Nice way to check out property before you go to TN. No details, but still informative.

blessings, Shen

We looked up the property we bought in TN and GOOGLE Earth didn't show the road our property was on. All the roads around it but not the specific address road but it is a pretty neat web site.

Try FlashEarth.com. It gives more details, especially as you can choose which satellite image you want. The Google Maps, and both Microsoft Ve's gave the best detail.

When they first came out with Google Earth, half of the office I worked at was flying around the planet. "Hey, that's my car in the parking lot!"

If you Google 220 Great Circle Road, Nashville, Tn, you can see where I work. It's just NW of the state capital. And yes, you can actually see my car in the parking lot. ;-)

Damn. A guy can't hide anywhere anymore.

At least I'm glad you thought it was a newspaper and not a, well, never mind.

I would doubt it. I bet that parking lot has a lot of surveillance!
