It’s been warmish the last few days. Downright HOT, really. And humid. REAL humid. Kinda like being in a steam room!

So, is this it? Huh? Is this the infamous heat/humidity combination that I hear so much about?

HAH! I scoff at such conditions!

No, this isn't it yet. At least not in Nashville. Wait until it's 98 or 102 and humid some day in July or August.

But, in brighter news, we at least got a little rain here this afternoon. It wasn't much however.

Yeah, I saw it. We went to Cookeville today and while sitting in the car in the various parking lots I watched the steam rise off the asphalt.

By the way, you have the right idea. Just scoff at the weather. Oh, and drink a big glass of lemonade (or a beer), it will never taste as good as on a hot day in July.

Nope, this is not it. Not even close. July and August are the closest thing to Florida and yeah, you will be hot. You'll get use to it.

Fort Myers was actually worse than St. Petersburg. Yep. Tennessee is not that bad, EVER.

Someone coming from the northwest, or the north, period, it will be hot for him. For you, Sunshinebaby, it will be a walk in the park!

Did you swim in the pool in Maryville when you were on vacation?
