No response to my queries about Winchester...soooooo, I'll try Again. Have looked at property in all three cities and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about these three. Would appreciate any thoughts you guys have! I've heard more bad about Memphis than the other two but if anyone knows differently, Tell me!
Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Red face Memphis

Memphis has it's share of crime. Most of it is isolated to certain areas. Tipton County is north of Millington. It is becoming very popular for families that do not want to live in Shelby County. Tipton has a very down home feel. My son goes to school in the area. We love it. So, you can live near Memphis and still feel safe.

That's just my opinion. Others are free to disagree.

We started to build a house north of City chattannoga, hamilton co. Did not visit the other two. River area nice for boating, also close to the Walden ridge or mtns, for hiking on the long Cumberland trail ( CT) 300 mile linear park. Lower cost houseing on the north side ? Lots of family festivals on river-walk area.

If you are thinking of moving to Memphis, I would recommend looking at Olive Branch, MS.

Check out the demographics for the city and I'm sure you can figure it out. Live in the suburbs not the city and you should be alright.

Yes, Germantown is a short commute to Memphis. Just like Franklin is to Nashville. It's a small city of around 40k and there is very little, if any, crime. Where as Memphis IS crime.
