Last year.
European countries have higher per capita sales.
China was the only non-western country with significant purchases.

Were it not for politics which has infected every facet of our lives, Tesla would be heralded as quintessentially every bit as American as blue jeans and McDonald's. But now to celebrate Tesla, I have to pass every litmus test on earth.

Many big cities of China have restrictions on private cars, but those restrictions are not applied to new-energy automobiles. That boosts the sales. (China also has its own brands though.)

Does Tesla actually have factory owned retail centers set up in all of those countries? I really don't know much about the company, but I remember reading that Tesla will only sell direct, not through other dealerships.

According to websites, model S 75D was 710,000 yuan (102,000 USD) before this July, and 850,000 yuan (122,200 USD) now due to the trade war.

This is why Model 3 will repeat or perform even better abroad than in U.S. Already equal demand abroad for more expensive products. Model 3 being "cheaper" will really attract demand in Europe, where gas prices are much higher.
