Anyone else ordering one of these? After watching a few videos of the materials technology, and capabilities this beast will have (tri-motor version), I'm convinced this vehicle is an absolute bargain even at $77,000 (with self driving module).

Anyone who believes a self driving module is totally safe, is a fool.

Since the OP never made that statement, I don't really think he is the fool in this thread.

Also there is the small fact that the "self driving module" isn't fully activated yet due to NTSB regulatory hurdles.

It basically is a fancy cruise control at the moment, and I believe works for summoning the vehicle within a 200x200 foot square area.

I would never get a Tesla, much less their truck. Takes a special king of crowd of which I have no interest of be part of.

However I hope you enjoy yours, since this is what you like!

"Self driving" or even a "fancy cruise control" is a fantastic safety feature.

But, I still think this whole thing is a joke (the truck). The Rivian looks a lot better but has no track record. I'd rather wait and get that one vs the "Cybertruck" (yeeesh).

The Rivian definitely has a more traditional pickup look.

Nice! I don't have much use for a pickup truck, but I would have to imagine it's going to be the most fun truck driving experience you will have!

I think it's going to be crazy fun. We'll see when they hit production, but I know Elon Musk has already announced that the amount of attachments is going to be insane.
