Hi-
I was just on the phone with a friend today who lives in Lubbock.

He's a proud native of Snyder, Texas & proud graduate of Texas Tech B.S. & M.S. Mathematics & Statistics who lived in Midland for a time & attended UTPB & told me about the Best Chicken Sandwich of His Life that he had at The Barn Door Restaurant in Odessa. He also told me to try Rockin' Q BBQ there. I've been to Odessa 6 times but have never eaten there.

What can anyone tell me about these Odessa restaurants??

Thanks,

fallguy

The Barn Door is a landmark is Odessa and the food isn't bad at all. I haven't eaten there in a while but I always enjoyed it when I did. I don't really think of Rockin'Q as a great restaurant but I always liked it too.

If you do get down to Odessa and you like Thai food, then check out Oie's Spicy Thai. Oie makes some mean Thai food and she will often come out talk when she is not cooking. Great lady, great food.
