Houston unemployment rate went from 8.2% to 8.8%, and DFW from 8.1% to 8.5%. Mehhh thats not a good sign. Austin 6.9% to 7.4%.

Not really a bad sign, let me explain you : Houston, DFW and Austin created many jobs this year, but so many people from other states and other countries come there now...Many jobs created, but more unemployed arrive.
The unemployment rate in Texas is steady this year for this reason, without these newcomers the rate would be near 6.5-7%
But Texas can be happy : more jobs created = more revenues for the state and cities = more jobs created

In all honesty that is true, I just wish, I really do that people moved to these Texas cities with a job already secured. The way people seem to think is that they hand out job offers at the airports or right on the border of city boundaries or something. Mehh... they're wrecking our unemployment figures!
