Ross Dress for Less (El Paso, Mission: tornado, prices, stores)

So, I visited a new Ross store that just opened 3 weeks ago and lord have mercy the employees and customers have already torn the store down! Why is this a common theme in Ross stores? You first enter the store and usually see a long line of customers, then you venture to the luggage/toy sections and realize most of the merchandise is either already opened or smashed out right. This particular Ross store had very limited t shirt sizes, only 3XL and up.

There was a Rent-A-Cop guarding the front door in one of those uniforms you get at Party City and I think there were only 3-5 employees in the entire store. What's going on with this place?

I have been in 2 Ross stores (just out of curiosity), and found them to be just crap! Real junk-holes......so I suppose what you're seeing is normal for them, maybe?

I've only been to one twice, found my girlfriend a nice dress she liked. I just assumed thats how those stores are. The prices there are low for a reason, I assumed that reason was because the clothes are 2nd hand from some other stores and that Ross's doesnt hire enough staff to keep the store looking nice. I dont have a problem with it though. Its almost like a treasure hunt looking through the stuff there.

Every Ross I've ever been in looks like a tornado ripped through the inside. I don't think they ever straighten those places up. I swear they just bring the stuff in in a front-end loader and dump it. My sister always finds things in Ross, but I just can't handle digging through all the junk. I prefer TJMAXX. They seem to have basically they same stuff, but at least they are usually organized and neat.

The one I went to in El Paso years ago was actually well kept. One of the stores I've been to in Mission is a wreck. What's funny is it's right next to T.J. Maxx, which is well maintained. Who knows?
