In the last few days, here in Austin. I have had some hardcore Cowboys fans who are my friends now bashing the Cowboys, and boosting the Texans. They went as far as to buying Jerseys and all that for the Texans. (I hate band wagon fans)
I knew Derek Carr personally, he was the younger brother of David Carr, I've met the team back when I was in middle school twice. I remember that because Derek and I were good friends, throughout until High School. But unfortunately, after 3 years at Clements, things went bad for his family. A lot having to do with his brother always having to switch teams, his family went into a lot of stress, and they moved back home to their hometown in California. Bakersfield.
I just talked to Derek last night via text, he will be looking forward to the Texans winning this weekend, he now goes to Fresno State University, the school where his brother went, and he also wants to end up in the NFL and be a better quarterback than even his brother.

The Texans since back from David Carr's days have come a long way. At one point they were absolutely horrible, they were the 2nd worst after Miami one season I believe. And they've made strives to get to where they are today. I was never into NFL passionately, and still am not. I love the NBA too much to put anything higher, but I root for both teams to go far. I do make fun of the Cowboys a lot by calling them Cowgirls and things like that, but thats something I've been doing since middle school, in just humor nothing meant to offend.

This weekend will be a good game, I'm going with the Texans since they are the home team, but if the Cowboys win, it wouldn't bother me the slightest. I hope both teams have a good season though.

But as for the Mavericks, hell no... Rockets (and the Spurs) will kill them all day and all night.

I hope Houston pounds the Cowboys. I hope every other team pounds them, for that matter.

My attitude has nothing to do with bandwagon. I just can't stand Jerry Jones...and I will NOT be a Cowboy fan again until he is no longer the owner. Period.

I think the Cowboys deserve some hate at this point for being such a disappointment. Every year it's the same old story...... yawn.

Yes, I'm a Cowboys fan.

What hate? Unless you are the Redskins, Giants, Eagles, 49ers, Packers, or Steelers, the majority of us do not give a crap about you.

Yeah, I really envy not having a Division II quarterback passing to a bunch of guys that nobody would even give a second glance to if they played for Seattle or Kansas City. I would take Demarcus Ware in a heartbeat, however.
