Not anywhere in my statement did I say which one was less costly! However, I would rather have my tax dollars go towards putting a heinous criminal to death than feeding, sheltering and yes, even educating him/her! Prison is a nice litte gig for some! Free education, free meals, free rent!!

Keep doing what you're doing, Texas!!! Maybe one day the rest of the country will fall in line!!

The abolished the death penalty in 1972 for a short period of time. That is when his sentence was commuted to LIFE! When the reinstated the death penalty, they didn't change his sentence back to DEATH! That man should not be sucking air, he should be pushing up daisy's. I wonder how long Scott Peterson will sit on death row for the murder of his pregnant wife and unborn child????

The fact that Texas leads in executions is one of the many reasons I love that state! They know how to quiet a criminal permanently!
