houston will likely get one. you do not KNOW that it will
wat the houstonians are showin is that they are jealous because they chose dallas first......So they play it down by saying houston will get one so dallas wont look like a favorite with companies....Houstonians also said they were getting a W because dallas got one....where is it?...they also said that they would get a ritz carleton....where is it. The only thing i can say thats really true about this trend is that Houston did indeed get a House of Blues after dallas, but the funny thing about that was that they actually announced the one in Houston first...but BUILT the one in dallas first...boy do they looove Dallas......oh and Dallas got the real barney's and all houston got was a Barney's Boutique...go figure!!

I'm like 99.9% sure Houston will get one.

That's why clothing retailers are reluctant to open in Texas. Dallas is the fashion city, which is a rather sad testament to our state.

Hey it could happen! Tyler used to have a women's Express, which is very similar to H&M.

Broadway Square Mall just got a Coach store recently.

Tyler is having to beef up its higher end shopping to accommodate all of the younger people moving into East Texas.

which means what? dallas has been a "fashion" city long before many of today's top labels even existed. if that was supposed to be a shot at the way dallasites dress then that's kind of silly because they can

and since when are clothing retailers reluctant to open in texas? do you work in the industry?

Houston has a Forever 21 in its downtown, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if H&M already has a spot picked out there for expansion into the Houston/South-Southeast Texas market.

impressive for an east texas town, but i'm sick of people acting like coach is so upscale. no offense, but the women here kill me with that. throw a coach bag on their arm and they actually think they're the baddest thing walking the earth. chick, atleast upgrade to a louis before you start acting all stank

My girl has a Coach & LV purse!

Yeah Tyler getting a Coach store is quite impressive though...I was quite shocked actually when I first walked past it had to do a double take.

There are some very rich folks here; doctors, lawyers, oil & gas companies, businessmen, etc.

Tyler has lots of old money still, but like I said, the demographics have changed so much just within the past 10 years new blood is starting to take over this once highly conservative town.

We're now a small city of over 100K & metro of over 200K.
