Hi im going back to texas in few yrs. grew up in dallas and went to UT Austin.
im considering all major cities but main thing is best place to practice dentistry and also living condition.

coming from CA, i wanna live in developed areas with many amenities. im willing to drive 20-30miles out for better opportunites in dentistry.

any insight would be appreciated.
which city is best?

I would check back in a few years when your ready to make the move. Things in Texas are changing so much and growing so fast that anything said today could be wrong in a few years. It's all a guess in a few years.

Exactly. Everything is growing so much...we just were talking to some nephrologists who moved from Indiana because Denton County is one of the top 10 fastest growing populations in the country...things are sprouting up everywhere.

Just wait till you are ready to come and then decide based on what you want in a lifestyle.

When we moved to Little Elm in 2000, the town had just started to grow. The population was around 1,500. Ten years later the population is 24,000.

I echo what the others are saying. What's hot now may not be hot in 3-5 years, or there could be an entirely new place to be...you know the drill. Sorry, couldn't resist.
