This makes it difficult for breakfaast since most places do not have egg free meat platters, and I'm not spending $25 on a la carte items.
Not hard at all! Just ask them to hold the eggs - works for me, when I'm not in an egg mood.

LOL Good lord no, THL! My post had nothing to do with breakfast tacos! I wasn't addressing what you said! (sounds good!)

I was just saying that "sausage and gravy" is a classic Texas breakfast item. Along with biscuits. And perhaps it should have been a choice all its own. Now tell me you ain't ever had THAT! LOL

LOL You are right, BstYet. This is the problem with creating polls...especially when it comes to something "Texican". There is always SOMETHING that is going to be left out and regret not including when all is said and done!

Flapjacks, anyone?

Good thing about breakfast is that it also makes a great dinner. Nothing better then when you're tired and don't want to cook a big meal.

I'm not a big breakfast eater. I know, most important meal of the day, I'm just not hungry when I get up. Having said that, if I have to pick a breakfast I choose scrambled eggs, bacon, and grits with salt and butter (no sugar!). When I was younger I loved biscuits and gravy but it's too heavy for me now.
