You seem to have several chips on your shoulders.

Maybe a person doesn't like the quality of the items that Wal-Mart offers. Maybe a person doesn't like the prices at Wal-Mart.

Give it a rest.

I stick with my reason.

REALLY??? When I worked at Dillard's in the Richland Mall I had MANY customers from Temple. And their answer was usually the same, the Temple Macy's AND Dillard's SUCKED!

Poorly designed stores, bad customer service, cleanliness leaves something to be desired, no real butcher or fishmonger, chaotic checkout, and yes the customers can be a bit much as well. There is more to shopping than having the lowest prices. This doesn't even bring the negative effects that Wal-Mart's have on local economies into the discussion.

For someone who seems concerned with generalizations about others you sure do make a lot of them yourself.

That must've been many years ago. Years ago Waco was the center of Central Texas (outside of Austin). However, Temple/Killeen now offer much more than they once did. I've been to both malls and they must suck equally because neither was better than the other (imo). Waco deson't even have Macy's.

Most of that stuff you said I don't care about. I worked in retail and understand the employees pain. However, I've never understood the horrible customer service thing with Wal-Mart.

It's always been decent to me; at least by my standards.

You don't really have to care, because mezman won't ever be shopping for you. If Wal-Mart works for you -- great. If not -- great.

If there was a "one size fits all" approach to grocery stores, we wouldn't have options.
