My husband and I recently visited the Weatherford area. We loved it. We are looking for a place to retire. We have horses. We did not find a lot a places to trail ride in the area. Seems it is all privately owned. Does anyone have more information. We did see the Mineral Wells state park and the LBJ grasslands.

Default Marshall Creek Park

Trail rider, I am sure there are other horse trails too, but I know this one and it is Marshall Creek Park, an 877 acre park, on the west end of Grapevine Lake in Denton County. It provides hiking, swimming, bird watching and horseback riding. Happy trails!
