I like how Lubbock is almost tied with Dallas.

Go Lubbock!

It has the most number of freeways in Texas and an interesting layout, but that layout causes for random traffic congestion spots. With Houston, you know which freeways will be congested, depending on the time. San Antonio has the easiest system, and there is only traffic around the touristy areas (1604 sucks).

How is that? Many of them are continuously being upgraded and widened to accomodate future growth. And over the next 5-10 years 635 will be completely redone complete with managed lanes. I don't understand where you are coming from here.

Looking at a map, Lubbock looks like it would be a breeze to navigate. Too bad that I've never been there to know for sure..............so I had to cast my vote for "other" in honor of a town that I know is a breeze to drive through: Lufkin!

I know what you mean. I've passed through Lufkin several times and have never had a problem with traffic or finding my way. Pretty smooth and nice town too.

I voted San Antonio. I've never been stuck in traffic there, the traffic always flows and it's easy to get from point A to point B using their vast "free"way system.

I'll be living in Lubbock in August-ish.

Needless to say, it's freeway system is very impressive for a city it's size.
