Yeah yeah. In my own little world i'm not doing anything wrong. The government isn't helping to keep me safe by mandating that I have a front license plate.

But the system doesn't care, so I'll just continue bending over and taking it.

About 20 years ago I was stopped by a DPS trooper on I-35 north of Austin because of the Lone Star Flag plate on the front of my truck.
He said to put my official license plate on, and just gave me a verbal warning.

I politely told him that I thought that was rather "unTexan" to make me change it.

btw - The trooper had been one of my junior high students many years before, but he apparently didn't recognize me.
