We can change the law.
We can let the government(us) pay for it.
It is still wrong
So is letting kids starve to death wrong too? Because that is what will happen to those being born without any social support network as Texas is.

If it can't be done in the light; it will be done in the dark.
There are plenty of people out there willing to adopt that child so that shoudlnt even be a concern. What I still don't understand, is with all of the contraceptives available today (many very very cheap), why we still have such a high rate of unwanted pregnancies.

Women need to learn to keep their legs closed and Men need to keep their zippers up.

yeah ... particularly if that baby is WHITE.... if it is the slightest bit brown, not so much....

if ANYBODY thinks that making abortion illegal will stop abortion, they are woefully uninformed and naive... ...... abortion in one form or another has been around as long as women have been getting pregnant......

oh sure, it will make it more difficult and expensive.... but stop it?? not a chance.....

Back Alley Abortions would be on the rise again; these type of business were very prominent when abortions were illegal.

Yeah, let's ban abortion and have a bunch of unwanted children enter this world. Then later in life when they're a "menace to society" and "suckling on the teet of government" you pro-lifers can come on this website and have a whole ammunition of more things to whine and complain about. Makes sense to me.

Does Texas enjoy being the laughingstock of the nation when it comes to extremist politics?

Killing in and of itself is not wrong, it is murder that is wrong. This is why the death penalty nor self defense are wrong, because they are not murder.

That being said it could be argued that abortion is murder, it could be argued that is not aswell.

I think we would be better off if folks on welfare were forced to use implantable contraceptives as a condition of being supported.
