OK, here's one.

One of the most famous and oft-quoted lines in Movie history was addressed to a character, played by a nearly unknown, obscure actor who was born and raised in Texas. Who was he, what was the movie, and what was the line?

Additional hint: The quoted line was never said in the movie, and in real life, the actor was unable to do what he was shown doing in the movie.

Well, I don't want to coopt the intent of this thread, so were I to pose it as a question it might go like this:

In what Texas town was the town's librarian arrested for "disrupting a council meeting" only to later be appointed the town's manager, allowing her to subsequently fire the police chief for trafficking drugs, and other charges? She was herself fired when a new slate of council members was elected.

Answer: San Benito -ca. 1992.

Here's a Hint. He was from a city between Dallas and Shreveport.

I have to agree that the question and hint are to vague. I took a stab at searching for this but got nowhere. Nothing there to sink one's teeth into.

OK. The thing the actor could not do in real life was play the piano, which he did in the movie.

I'm going to take a wild stab at this one

Quote:
"Play it again, Sam" - was a line never spoken by Ingrid Bergman or Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca (1942) to Sam (Dooley Wilson), the nightclub pianist and reluctant performer of the sentimental song 'As Time Goes By' (written by Herman Hupfeld). Dooley was born Arthur Wilson in Tyler, Texas.
