I agree that it is Tyler's without question. I've driven in all 4 towns many, many times.

I respectfully disagree with anyone who says that Tyler's traffic problems aren't 'real'.

Lufkin's traffic is the best.

You may gripe about Nac's North Street @ 5PM, but Nac's loop MORE than makes up for it. Then you have North/South roads like University and Pearl that help when North is busy.

Try driving Loop 323 or Broadway in Tyler @ 5 PM. It is great practice for most of what Dallas or Houston has!!!

Exactly.

None of the above.... the answer would be Austin.

I just read that about Austin, that's crazy! People gripe so much about Houston and Atlanta. Had no idea Austin was that bad.

Tyler has one of the most congested roads in the state & undoubtedly the worst in East Texas. It was just released not long ago. I see you follow that kinda stuff.

Logically it's got to be Tyler.

Asking about traffic problems in any city smaller than Austin is absurd.
Indeed.

Tyler traffic sucks but I know it can't be compare to the big cities around Texas.

Houston has 6 million people...

I've been on that road and it is indeed freaking terrible.

I'll bet anyone here that Dee voted for Nacogdoches. Haha

Tyler's working population swells to over 150,000 people each day. Combine that with the fact we don't have any freeways & a whole lot of stop lights makes traffic here comparable to some larger Texas cities.

I'd put it right up there with North Dallas suburbs like Addison & Carrollton as a matter of fact.

Tyler's traffic is actually pretty heavy, and therefore bad, during rush hour. Obviously its not Houston, but it damn sure is a headache, and Im saying this as someone from Tyler who has lived in Houston and dealt with larger city traffic day in and day out. I know from experience that South Broadway, Troup Highway, and Loop 323 can all get very congested during rush hour.
