He grew up in Nacogdoches and played for Nacogdoches High School.

THat is cool. It makes it more fun to cheer for a team when you have a connection. We love soccer here. We have an amazing HS team for a small country town and have only had a soccer program for 10 years.

It is pretty cool to know someone like that. I just found out the other day that the son of a guy I worked with and knew very well, is now playing in the National Hockey League (but not on a team that made the playoffs).
