Hi, my dh has a interview in Buna Tx for a job. I can't really find much out about it. From what I see on here it is very small like 2000 people. I wonder how far it is to shopping and resturants? Would that be Beaumont or Jasper? What about high schools? Is that far enough inland not to have to worry about hurricanes? Thanks for information you can give me!

It's an extremely small town which you might like. Jasper is close but it's also a small town, not much bigger, Beaumont has more to offer in the way of shopping and eating. In 2005 Rita did blow through there, that was not the norm, but hey you never know.

You go to Silsbee to get to Super Wal Mart or Chili's.

Go to Beaumont for everything else - the big mall and retail are on the very north end of Beaumont so not too bad of a drive.
