Certain folks have a hard time grasping the Black Culture, conforming is not the answer, at least to me its not.

It has been stated on many occasions of how the black community in DFW does not equate to Houston. Hell, you & Dallaz ridiculous post shows the massive differences in mind frame. "You" going to TSU "should" have seen that, or maybe that was "too much" for you. I feel that alot of you North Texans know it, but don't want to admit it. Why don't you explain how Dallas equates to Houston for blacks?
Both black communities are growing like crazy. So if having an HBCU created the interest in Houston over Dallas then why is dallas' black community growing just as fast or faster. Why would sooo many blacks still be moving here?

DFW has added more blacks than Houston for almost every year this past decade yet Houston still has the highest number of blacks. I honestly don't think you guys can retain growth because at the rate its growing, it should have outpaced Houston..

A Look at College Degree Migration | Newgeography.com

This article shows growth migration for folks with degrees (though the article is not black focused, it gives me a idea of the type of growth taking place). Look at the list and see where DFW is placed when out-migrates are factored. Houston did not even rank in the top 10.

Are you forgetting that Houston has over a million more people than Dallas? The raw numbers for houston should be higher. All the years we've been adding more blacks was only closing the gap between the two.
And.......i still want you to tell me why Dallas black population is growing so fast if Houston's black community is the strongest. That article was in general not about blacks.

The article focused on "metro" not city. Go back and read. I stated in my post that its not a black article but the article give me a idea of the growth pattern in the area. Dallas may be adding more blacks but with the lack of resources & culture/vibe in the area its not able to retain them. That's what my posts said and the article "somewhat" represents...im not about to go in circles with you. You still have not answered my question on how Dallas is somewhat equal to Houston are better for blacks. Now, you are going to tell me some "we are in the future" BS, which you can save BTW.

So, you're saying that even though more blacks are moving to Dallas, many blacks are leaving due to the lack of resources which is causing Dallas to still be behind Houston?

That's odd if so.
