Moderator cut: off topic/personal downtown San Antonio has block after block of beautiful historic architecture on a large and small scale. Thats what it is known for, Galveston is quaint looking but nothing in comparison.

I disagree. Houston easily beats out Dallas in that department. What Dallas is doing is playing catch up. Houston's downtown already houses a world class theater district, park, stadiums, shopping and more.

What Dallas is just getting; Houston already has.

Think he means that Houston has that and is still improving with things like Discovery Green, the new Condos downtown, The expansion of the rail going out north of downtown and other projects

Actually it is. The downtown area is bringing in more shopping, scenery, parks, attractions and more. Discovery Green alone has impacted downtown Houston more than anything going in in downtown Dallas.
