Everywhere I look here in SA the grass has that golden look and the leaves on the trees are limp.

I've forgotten what rain looked and smelled like, crap I haven't seen any clouds in I don't know how long.

This bright blue sky/no clouds/sunshine 100+ day after day thing has gotten pretty old..

Your area is in a world of hurt unless a historical storm dumps a ton of rain. I don't think they will be able to get the well field in ward county online before Ivey runs out of water by late 2012/early 2013....

We got 2-4 inches of rain early this morning. We are under a Flash Flood Watch until 7:45 am. It's gonna rain again later this afternoon.

I wish the rest of Texas could get this rain too. :-(
We didn't need all that rain, some parts of the metro flooded because of it.
BTW today's rain was a record.

Send it south to Waco! We were supposed to have a chance of rain today, but nothing so far. At least the clouds have kept it from breaking triple digits today.

Lucky you. It didn't hit triple digits here either, but it's so incredibly humid, it might as well have. Tomorrow might feel a bit better though.

The rain in DFW was spotty. Most of it was in the northern area. I live in south Ft Worth and got a little, but certainly not 2-4 inches. Maybe half an inch. Still, it got all the way down to 73 degrees F at my house. Brrrr!

I thought we only got a little rain too, until I walk outside. It was puddles everywhere. When did you notice that it started to rain?

We were suppose to get a lot of rain today in Houston but it all stayed east in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area.
