Hello again,
I visited Midland today to look at a few apartments. I've pretty much narrowed my list down to Wildflower, Trinity Place, and Meridian. I got to look at a model unit at Wildflower and Trinity Place, but not Meridian. Meridian currently has the lowest rent per square footage (for a 1 bedroom). Can anyone comment on these apartments, which on might be better/worse, etc.?

Thank you

Came across my old thread and just wanted to update that I decided to move into the Meridian. The complex is average. I'm assuming that many complexes aren't putting much back into the property because they know they have a waiting list of prospective tenants. Anyways, the complex seems safe, no problems with my neighbors. Parking has been a problem, my car bumper was damaged most likely by a truck. Mostly cosmetic, but damaged none the less. The cost of the apartment now for new move-ins is about 20% more than what I'm paying when I moved in almost a year ago. I won't be renewing. I'm leaving Midland. My time here hasn't been that great but it's not because Midland isn't a great city.

A friends sister had a place at the Meridian. It's wasn't the best place but better than some of the others I've seen.

From what I've seen, there are no available apartments in Midland right now. I've looked at or called at least 5 and they have no openings. Some have waiting lists while others are first come first serve.

Not sure what my husband is going to do when he moves there in a few weeks for a new job. We will be buying a house soon, but during that interim will be interesting. Hopefully there are some studio suites he can rent.

Their building some new apartments over on Business Loop 20 & Loop 250. I would call them up and get on a wait list.
