Yeah, it's always best to live in the now. Especially seeing how NOW, the Texans season may be in trouble....

And did someone really just throw the 2002 first game against the 'Boys?

Seems like we're not the only ones livinig in the past. What have the Texans done since?

Ah, the 2002 game! I had a suspicion that was what 19-10 was, but I didn't care enough to go search past schedules.

Only a Texans fan would quote the score of a game from 9 years ago against a team that has completely dominated you since then. Seriously, Houston. Is that REALLY the best you've got?

Really? Is that all you got?
You do realize they've played TWO regular season games since that first game, right? Do you know the final scores of those games?

How does 34-6 and 27-13 IN HOUSTON sound? End the thread right there.

I see, that's your response to facts.
You said the Texans have been the most consistent and has been the better franchise over the past 10 years?
He brought up facts that the Texans were indeed NOT better. You response is that he is living in the past even though it was a post about the present. The Cowboys have won their division, TWICE in addition to going to the playoffs four times. As said before, this was our worse decade ever and we still pulled in an average record with playoff trips.

I have nothing against the Texans either and this writer does not speak for Cowboy fans. But some of you Texan fans need to get over the little brother syndrome. And especially you Saints fans. You Saints fans do realize that the Cowboys aren't your rivals, right?

I see the Texan hate is still going strong.

Don't Hate, Congratulate.

Texans are a new team.
Other Famous teams didn't do well their first couple of Decades either. I mean look at the Saints. They are a wildly popular Team, but their first few decades were rough. Houston is just hitting their first decade and they are doing well.

Nothing but acquire good 1st round picks through mediocrity that is finally paying off with the the number 1 defense, 8 on offense, and 2nd in pt differential (behind green bay). Seems with the relatively young talent the Texans have acquired that they are set for the near future.

I don't hate the Texans. I have no reason to. They aren't a rival to us. I root for them as long as they aren't getting in the Cowboys way. But if somebody says something mindless agaonst the Cowboys, in going to respond.

Agreed. It's rather sad seeing the Texans always trying to talk smack and pretend there's some sort of rivalry. Don't let the Star-Telegram article in the OP fool you. Unless you are an NFC East team or the Steelers, we don't care about you. Take the little brother syndrome somewhere else.

Ditto.

Especially with the last line.

Sad thing is, they can't even come back with anything better than "...Cowgirls suck."
