To be of positive service to newcomers. I think its wrong to label helpful volunteers as bored.

Id rather be bored, positive, and helpful than bored, negative, and strictly critical without moving the ball forward. Why waste time posting you are bored with, or dislike, all threads that do not appeal to you or apply to you?

No need to get yourself all upset about it. It was just an observation.

I get curious about different towns around the state and San Angelo happens to be one of them. One of the main things I wonder about are the shopping options and especially grocery stores since they are such an integral part of our lives.

Also amazing is the difference in prices of food and milk is as good a barometer for determing this as anything I'd say.

I live in Burleson, just south of DFW and a gallon of milk at our Walmart is the everyday price of $.98. I guess I haven't realized our fortunate we are!

I have searched and there seems to be no Kohl's department store in San Angelo. The closest seems to be in Abilene. As far as other choices, I take it there isn't a Home Depot, or Lowe's? I see Lowe's groceries, but I think that's different? Also if you need major appliances, Fridge, Stove and so forth, or gardening supplies, where do you go?

We have a Lowe's and Home Depot in San Angelo. You can also get gardening supplies at the feed stores. Sure wish we had a Kohl's, I keep hoping.
