Houston is best if its truly global. Houston has more foreign consulates than other Tx cities. Houston has air connections to many international locations, most of latin america but also many in europe and asia but dallas can probably beat connections to those two. However, Africa and the middle east due to oil ties have many connections to Houston. Dallas is a good choice as well depending on the business and which areas of the globe are more important to the business.

I'd have to say either Houston or Dallas depending on what type of global business you want to start.

Agree. Both are good but they each have their strong points. More info is needed to help you narrow it down.

If it's truly Global, you will need International travel, so go where there is a huge international airport...

It really depends on the industry. Houston is the most global city in Texas and if you are looking for anything regarding the oil and energy industry, it should be tops.

Dallas the other global city in Texas albeit not to the level of Houston. Dallas would perhaps be a better choice if you are looking to establish anything in the computer technology field or telecommunications.

Both Houston and Dallas have airports that have nonstop flights to every corner of the globe.

Yep, what I remember is that justme02 is the airport expert, so he knows.

For an energy company (any energy from oil to alternative/green) or biotech/pharm company, Houston. For telecom or computer hardware, Dallas.
