Actually, Texas has 15 In-N-Out burger locations and will have over 20 next year. So a lot of Texans have already had In-N-Out. And it's possible to like both In-N-Out and Whataburger. They both have their own good qualities.

Whataburger does indeed suck. The best burger I've had in Texas (Yes I am a Texan.) was at the Burger Bar in Cleburne. Google it sometime then go there. It is a must for a diehard old fashioned burger fan. Just be warned if you go, if you go at lunch time be prepared to wait.

I agree. I'm one of those that likes In-N-Out's fresh burgers but I do need me my customized Whataburger with jalapeños and onions also. Both have their strenghts.

They are both good. In-n-Out has better burgers, but WaB's are still good and InO doesn't have honey butter chicken biscuits or honey BBQ chicken sandwiches.

...or 95% of the other stuff Whataburger has on its menu that In N Out doesn't.

Whataburger is also open 24/7/365.

In N Outs closes at 1 AM.

Bobby J's is my fav! Whataburger is just awful. Haven't ever see any In-n-Out.

That can't be true of all of them because the one time I went to one was after closing time.

Ate an In and Out once. Didn't see what the rave was about, it wasn't that great. They're always packed, 90% of the customers are probably people from Cali that fled to Texas. Burger Box is great. I think there's three locations in the HEB area. They're in the old school Dairy Queen buildings, like going back in time.
