My husband and I will be moving to Huxley, TX within the next 2 months. I am currently working in a hospital in SA and will need to relocate to another facility. Does anyone know where the closest place is for a nurse to work?
I've been online and but having trouble with the distance. I'm not sure which area is closer. Any help would be appreciated.

center tx has a hospital, carthage tx. jasper, lufkin, nacodogechs all close to huxley, all have hospitals

Huxley is one of the northern most marina's on Toledo Bend Reservoir and is almost due east of Center, Texas (about 12 miles if my memory serves me right).
Timeout.......major hospital in Nacogdoches and is roughly a 40-50 min. drive in to Huxley. Into Lufkin which is more of the major med center for the region could take upwards to an hour. I am not positive of this. Why don't you call the marina (Huxley Bay Marina......Google up some white/yellow pages) and just ask the person approximate drive times to these hospitals....especially Lufkin Memorial and The Woodlands hospitals. Also I'm sure you'd have home health opportunities. Closer in I think Center has a small hospital and maybe San Augustine......try their chamber of commerce sites for a number to call or just call the chambers themselves. Bound to be some close in nursing homes too.
I don't know what is available to the north (Marshall and Carthage). Good luck! This part of East Texas is very pretty with it's heavy forrestation. Just curious.......why Huxley?
