Fall doesn't kick off for Texas until the middle of the regular season.

I dont think there is any question that the Texans are the best and most talented team in the state, but it is preseason.

I guess people in the DFW area just can't get enough of watching the boys lose. The game is being shown again on channel 21 at this very moment.

Are you being facetious?

I know when the season of Fall officially starts.

Afterall, I live in one of the only areas of Texas that gets a true "Fall" with the firey colors & 6-12 inches of leaves on the ground.

The Cowboys will once again under-achieve and I will do my best to ignore them as I have the last fifteen years. The Texans are much more my style and their good play is steadily winning fans away from the Cowboys.

You gotta hand it to Cowboy fans. They have what is debateably the most loyal following in sports despite not being very good.

Half of them don't really love the Cowboys, though. They just love the idea of them.

Not seeing how the Cowboys are different than about 28 other NFL fanbases as far as diehards go. Pretty debatable going into all sports tho.

They are. It may not be different than if the Steelers or Eagles had several bad years back to back, but it is different than say the Chiefs or the Jaguars.
